Feng Shui Prediction 2014
A strategic view, if you will:
Lots of Fire element, hence it is an aggressive year. Very creative but also very confrontational.
Economies will be vibrant in the 1st half of the year then cool down again in the 2nd half.
So make hay while the sun shines.
I think a lot of the worry is actually caused by the media (who need to have something to report! And doom & gloom make for sensational news) and by everyone else who have this mistaken notion that economies must *always* grow. No, they are cyclical. If you don't grasp that fact and put into your business forecasts, then you will *always* be wrong and miss targets.
Banking looks set to do well (phew!) - I hope the worst of the compliance issues everywhere have been resolved after some major fines being meted out in 2013.
Looking at the 24 Mountains chart and compared to the political stage here in Malaysia, we're in for ANOTHER dramatic year.
This time, both the Snake (PM Najib) and the Rabbit (Opp Leader Anwar) have strong energy. Coupled with the mood of the year which is confrontational - then we're going to see a lot of drama, a lot of political posturing as both sides egg their supporters on to gain traction.
So we have remind ourselves that whatever they say in the press is just a political show only. Don't get too worked up about it and get all, "I hate you etc etc" because that is very counter-productive.
Best to recognise it for what it is, just a show. Focus on your own thing - be it work, business, investments, family and so on; just stay calm.
However, note that there is a major calamity predicted after October 2014 - unsure if it is natural or man-made.
Ladies, especially older ladies, will see greater power. So on the world stage and locally, women corporate and political leaders will become more prominent. Men who are competing against them will likely lose and men who are working under them, well, better learn to swallow your pride.
In summary, as the year's heaven & earth elements of yang wood and fire interact, imagine a large log pile in a blazing bonfire - it generates tremendous heat and light but it can burn you badly too if you get too close. So it produces much energy which can be harnessed. In the end, it produces earth (wealth) but such wealth only comes about through using up intelligence (wood) and communication (fire); hence it is not an easy year to make money but money IS there for the making. Just not obvious and easy in say a water/wood type of year.
