Alas.. the most conventional means prevail

Sigh, after months of going around in circles trying to figure out how to get more money and reading all sort of get-rich schemes, what happens?

I go and get myself a higher paying job, that's what... ah well, the scope is very interesting and I'm looking forward to it!:)

In the meantime, my colleague also tendered her resignation to become a unit trust agent. So I bought some funds through her and in only a month or so, the appreciation - I did make a grand amount of RM66! Which is nothing to sneeze at considering the pitiful amount I bought! hehehe

(It was a high risk fund. Buyer beware, ok?)

Hmm.. now that that I gots me a higher pay, should I get a new car?? Noooooo!! The temptation of it all... uuaargh!

A new condo launch in Melawati by Sime Darby, I didn't know about it but just so happened to drive by the showroom as it was being constructed; then my mum told me that the launch event was on Saturday the 24th. Didn't have time to go on the 1st day but managed to make it today, the 26th. Picasso Residence, Jalan Jelatek

A new development open for registration just appeared on Jln Jelatek. It looks interesting and the location is good but there are some risky aspects to consider. Details like floor plans and pricing are not available although it is said to be around RM750 psf which is considered "low" in relation to M-Suites which is about 300m away and going for RM1,200+ psf - of course there are other factors in play with regard to M-Suites. Anyway, the pros and cons of Picasso according to currently available information: Pro: Location - just off Jln Ampang, it is close to KLCC (about 3km). It has access to the Ampang Elevated Highway (the entrance to the highway is like only 30m from Picasso) and the DUKE. The Jelatek LRT station is a stones throw away. You can drive straight into the KLCC car park within 8 minutes if there is no traffic (and if you use the Smart Tag! LOL) from this property. Viewing properties: 3 Residen, Melawati

In my seemingly never ending quest to purchase another property, I thought I might as well document my thoughts here on what I've seen so far.. sort of like a reminder / diary for myself. Age IS catching up after all! OK, so went to have a look at the Type A unit in 3 Residen which is 1,389 sq ft with an asking price of RM700,000. I've been to the launch of this development a number of years back and have seen the show unit. Now, finally having a look at the completed one.
